In the General Ledger report you will find the complete collection of financial accounts and the General Ledger shows the budget data and accounting data for all Profit & Loss and Assets & Liabilities accounts in one long table.
The General Ledger is useful to include as documentation in e.g. Board reports as these often compress the information to provide an overview.
The General Ledger is a flexible tool to work with if you need to gather budget input from parties who don’t have /shouldn’t have access to budget123. Simply export the General Ledger to Excel, send the file and ask the person to enter his data in the relevant accounts in the file. When you get the file back, save it as a .csv file and import the new data to budget123 in Models.
